ELECTROMAGNETIC SPECTRUM
Our objectives:
Our objectives:
- To be able to define EMS
2. To be able to explain the seven known regions of
the EMS by means of its frequency, wavelength and energy levels..and their
relations with thermal(heat) energy.
3. To find out how small is the visible spectrum.
BIG-TEAM ACTIVITY:
Each small team will measure the length of one side of classroom wall using a string and a ruler. Then the circumference of the class will be calculated by adding up the measurement each side. Next, the total amount is going to be used as a divider for the "known length of the EMS.. (for this you need to watch the below video clip to gather the information. Then we will have a class discussion.. NOTE THAT DUE TO LIMITED TIME IN THE FIRST DAY WE COULD NOT PERFORM THIS ACTIVITY. Yet the objective behind this activity is for you to understand the scale of the Electromagnetic Spectrum(EMS) versus the Visible Light within the EMS. 4. To be able to list how em radiations are utilized in our current technology
CLASS PROJECT-to be explained in the class
