let's further explore about visible and invisible light from scientific and artistic perspectives.
In today's world, science and technology is in its pick point ! Along with many other improvement in our lives, it is possible to detect the stars,
planets and galaxies by means of this advanced technology...
....Or is it that advanced yet?
We are able to detect those stars, planets and galaxies so far, because many of them can be seen either in the Visible Light Spectrum or can be detected within the Electromagnetic Spectrum..!
All of the universal realities we can find out so far can make up just 4 percent of the universe ... I would like us to brainstorm about this fact a little bit in our classes.
Meanwhile, in the below figures, check out the photos of a space view. Please notice, it is exactly the same photo. Yet, using different electromagnetic wavelengths in photography such as radio, infrared, optical (which is visible), x-ray and gamma-ray, you can see the same photo differently!

The other 96 percent is still unknown, astronomers can't see, detect or even comprehend.
These mysterious substances are called dark energy and dark matter. Astronomers infer their existence based on their gravitational influence on what little bits of the universe can be seen, but dark matter and energy themselves continue to elude all detection.
“We now know that the elements of the periodic table make up only 4 percent of the universe, with another 23 percent composed of dark matter, and the remaining 73 percent made of dark energy. The properties of dark matter and dark energy are becoming increasingly constrained...” (Feng, J.L.2012, Exploring the Dark Universe,American Scientist) (the book of Richard Panek: The 4 Percent Universe)
These are the current scientific fact and not necessarily covered in the public school system currently. We will discuss about this fact in our classes...We can also brainstorm about ways with which -how can we make use of this information for the wholes' benefit..!
But let me share some more information:
In order to cover this 96 % unknown territory faster, we also learned something important...!
“The total number of minds in the universe is one.” -Erwin Schrödinger, Nobel Prize in Physics 1933.
The essence of “matter” has been questioned and it has been found it does not have a separate existence; the universe in its totality is a SINGLE field of energy (the manifestation of power) and an endless ocean of data waves in which everything is a hologram.
Hologram takes place in your brain.. Hence, your brain is an incredible space for you to improve..
You can improve your brain through enhancing your scientific understanding!

To understand something better, you need to study, and activate your potential in your brain..
This can only happen in your learning process and through applying your understandings into your actions.
Hence, in our class, we will focus on learning science to improve your brain power. As you learn more about science and technology and be able to apply your understandings into the activities, you will understand things better and improve your brains' capacity through improving your related brain neuron. (look at the picture)
When your neuron web gets stronger and stronger, then you will understand the universe better...
MORE IMPORTANTLY:
I want you to know that you are (the Robinson Center students) completely ready to understand science better and improve your brain, because of your DNA that comes from your parents, because of your upbringing -your parents' valuable teachings and training-, and because of the knowledge you gained so far in our current world society, because what you have been learning in your schools, etc. and more than anything because of your unyielding desire and effort to learn new things...
For this reason, I am thrilled to embark on a journey with you, in which we will understand the basics of Electro-magnetic Spectrum, and then dig into the visible Light Spectrum territory through teaching activities...
Let's begin covering those only known waves in the 4% of the universe, so called Electromagnetic Spectrum.
Then we can progress into studying visible light from both scientific and artistic point of view.
Even though I may reshape our curriculum if necessary, based on your interests, for now, please go ahead and check out the tentative curriculum below:
